What's that Dude's name?... It's MO MENTUM!

Of the all the hundreds of things that can be made into a statistic in pro sports, the one thing that can never be quantified is momentum.  It's that invisible force that can propel an individual or a team to a level that that the so called experts or the athletes themselves did not thinkor seen possible.  There have been perfect examples of this phenomenon called momentum in recent sports history.  Look at the Pittsburgh Steelers in their most recent Super Bowl year.  A number 6 seed, forced to win three games on the road.  Impossible?  They did it.  Last year the Colorado Rockies won 21 of 22 down the stretch and rode our friend Mo all the way to a World Series berth.  How many people acutaly picked them to be anywhere near the playoffs?  Not many.  We saw it last night.  The LA Dodgers were mediocre most of the year then they make a trade, make a move in the standings and suddenly take 2 games from the mighty Cubs at Wrigley no less.  Why?  All because of momentum.  Now tell me Sportsline members... is your Uncle Kegger off his rocker about how important momentum is in sports?  Tell me what you think.
